As a bare minimum, our tags required a name, email address and phone number. There are a number of optional fields for additional details, such as your home address (so anyone who finds your pet locally can return your pet), your vets details (in the unfortunate event of an accident), allergy information and a message field for anything else you feel is relevant.
Yes. Any smart phone with a camera will be able to pick up the QR code on the tag.
We are here to help you with this. Just contact us with the updated details and we’ll get it done. You'll have full control over updating your details yourself soon.
Very! Our tags were designed with the hustle and bustle of pet life in mind. The QR code is scratch proof and the disc will easily withstand the adventures your furry friends put them through!
Microchips need to be scanned with specialist kit whereas Scanapet tags can be scanned by anybody with a smart phone. We aren’t trying to compete with microchips, we want to work alongside them to give your pet the best chance of getting home 🙂
Pink and Black came out as the top two colours when we ran a survey hence our current range. If you’d like to see a different colour then drop us a line and let us know - if it’s a popular request we’ll get it in stock!
No. Only we have the access to re-register your tag so nobody can claim your tag as theirs. We’d hope they’d scan it and let you know they’ve found it! 🙂
